2N® SmartCom Server

As of 31 March 2018, sale of 2N® SmartCom Server will be discontinued.

2N SmartCom Server is a software application that helps you manage and control M2M products from 2N. In particular, it allows you to remotely manage, configure, and control all connected 2N SmartCom PRO terminals and to perform their firmware upgrades. Needless to say, use is made of dynamic and non-public IP addresses by all the connected terminals.

  • It is not necessary to have a public or static IP address
Communication between the Terminal and the server does not require a static or a public IP address.
  • Firmware management
With 2N® SmartCom Server you can schedule FW upgrades for a set time to minimize impact on operations.
  • Virtual ports
By using virtual ports you can map a device that is remotely connected to the terminal onto the local TCP/IP serial port of your PC/server.
  • Data always current
Using the API you easily integrate with third-party SW. This lets you keep your information always up to date.
