2N is announcing a change of the product names of the 2N intercom group as of January 1, 2018. All products of this group, both IP and analog, will be listed without the word Helios.
There were many reasons that lead us to this step and we believe that you will like the names. As of January, this change will also be reflected in our communication toward you, our partners and customers. The new product names carry the company name 2N, followed by the respective product technology, for example IP, and the descriptive name, such as Verso, Solo, Base, Force, Safety, Uni or Vario.
Here is an example: 2N® IP Verso
2N® (company name and trade mark) IP or Analog (chosen technology) and Verso (descriptive name)
These product names are valid without exception for all world markets. Until now, we divided names for the German market where we listed the name “EntryCom” in place of “Helios”. Thanks to this new naming system this variation was removed and the German market will use the ordering product numbers valid for the rest of the world.
Here at 2N we gave ourselves a clear goal – to enter the year 2018 with clarified communication that will reflect in our web presentations and key marketing materials. It is possible that we will not be able to change all marketing materials immediately by January 1, 2018, but we will complete the change over the course of the following few weeks. All modified marketing documents will be gradually available in our 2N Media Library or at our web site.
We believe that these changes will also reflect in a communication of the 2N distribution network and you will be provided with updated data through their communication channels during the first and second quarters of 2018.
Contact your 2N Account Manager should you have any questions.
