Firmware 2.19.0 for Access Systems

We are releasing a new firmware 2.19.0 upgrade for all 2N Helios IP intercoms, as well as the 2N® Access Unit, to enhance our unique existing security functions.

An essential new feature limits the number of unsuccessful attempts of accessing a building. After five such incorrectly entered codes, the keyboard is now temporarily blocked. This prevents access risk by unauthorized individuals who may attempt entering random codes repeatedly.

Another feature increasing in user security is the ‘Silent Alarm.’ Upon activation in your system, you will be able to set off a silent alarm in case of a crisis by entering a special emergency code. For example, in case of an assault, the Silent Alarm opens the door and instantly alerts your security agency.

This upgrade release also contains a number of enhancements to the web interface that support user convenience during configuration. For a detailed overview of all new functions, please see the release notes on the Firmware page.
