New Version 1.9 of the 2N® Access Commander System

Before the end of the year, we will be issuing a new version of our software product, 2N® Access Commander, intended for the management of access rights to a building and the collective configuration of 2N devices.

Version 1.9 will offer the following functions:

Full biometrics support
Any major installation where a fingerprint reader is used for the 2N® Helios IP Verso and 2N Access Unit can now be centrally managed in comfort. Loading fingerprints into the 2N® Access Commander via the biometric USB reader, synchronisation of user access data and multi-factor authentication using biometrics can all be comfortably accessed from one location.

Time zones
As soon as the system detects devices in different time zones, a time stamp always appears on access logs and attendance records, supplemented by information on the time zone in UTC format. You can now also continually see a clock showing the system time, date and time zone in the upper right corner.
This gives the administrator a clear overview of time data compared to his/her local time, and makes it easy to differentiate time dependencies at first glance.

Automatic synchronisation of contacts on the intercom display
Thanks to automatic synchronisation of contacts, a newly added or removed user in 2N® Access Commander is immediately shown on the display of the 2N® Helios IP Verso or 2N® Helios IP Vario intercom. This significantly simplifies and speeds up the management of the display and saves costs.

Multi-factor user authentication
It is now possible to require a combination of up to 3 different means of user authentication for each access zone: an RFID card, PIN and fingerprint.
Triple authentication is ideal for environments requiring extremely rigorous security access (government, warehouses, production, research and development facilities, etc.).
