2N® SMS Server (Text messaging)

The 2N® SMS Server is an advanced software solution (SMS application - gateway SMS), which enables all LAN users to send and receive SMS (text messages) directly from the PC.

What 2N products can you use 2N® SMS Server with?

The 2N® SMS Server can be employed with any of 2N GSM Gateways, i.e. Analog GSM gateways (2N® Omikron, 2N® EasyGate, etc.), 2N ISDN BRI and 2N PRI GSM and 2N ISDN BRI Gateways, 2N VoIP GSM Gateways (except for 2N® VoiceBlue Enterprise), as well as with the 2N PBXs (excluding 2N® NetStar).

What is 2N® SMS Server for?

The 2N® SMS Server provides a lot of advantages compared with classical SMS sending tools: you can type your SMS more quickly than with a mobile keypad, use long messages, send messages to multiple users, define user groups for SMS sending (such as salesmen, technicians, management, standard clients, key clients, etc.).

What advantages has 2N® SMS Server to offer?

You can make use of so-called templates - pre-defined SMS, into which you just enter, e.g., your client's name, order number, reservation, or any other data. The 2N® SMS Server also helps you to send bulk SMS from a file. This means that you can import a CSV file containing respective mobile numbers and SMS texts and then have the SMS sent automatically one after another.

The 2N® SMS Server is also a great marketing tool as you can send mass SMS!

Does the 2N® SMS Server work for the incoming SMS as well?

Of course, the application also works with incoming SMS in an intelligent way. If a salesman sends a message to a client and the client replies to the gateway number within a predefined timeout, the SMS is resent to the particular salesmen automatically. Any SMS coming from an unknown number after a predefined timeout is distributed to all SMS server users as a broadcast. To ensure that messages from certain users (e.g. key clients or family members) should be sent to you exclusively, save their numbers into your directory as your VIP contacts. Doing this you make sure that such messages will never be distributed to all users but sent only to those who designate these users as their VIP contacts.
