2N® Net Audio Encoder
Clever Audio Signal Converter
2N® NetStreamer has become 2N® Net Audio Encoder.
The 2N® Net Audio Encoder is a clever IP device that can convert traditional (e.g. analogue) audio signal sources to IP form. Simply connect it to an FM radio, CD player or microphone and the 2N® Net Audio Encoder encoder then distributes audio to various destinations over an IP network using the 2N® IP Audio Manager software application. This audio converter can particularly be used in various public spaces, such as hotels, restaurants and wellness or fitness centres.
With the 2N® Net Audio Encoder you can simply connect traditional music sources to an advanced IP audio system. You can therefore easily “modernise” your audio system to IP technology without the need to change the current audio signal source (FM radio, CD player, microphone).
For technical reasons (e.g. low internet connection bandwidth) a hotel operator uses various types of FM radio stations as a source of background music in various areas, offering hotel guests the option of choosing from more than one type of station by genre and according to what is being broadcast. Each FM receiver is connected to the 2N® Net Audio Encoder, which transmits audio over a LAN network to a 2N® IP Audio Manager, from which the signal is subsequently distributed to various destinations.
