2N® Helios IP Force
An Entrance Guard That Can Handle Extreme Conditions
The 2N® Helios IP Force is an exceptionally sturdy IP intercom that will ensure you effortless communication with the people coming to your door, in combination with reliable security for your building entrance. It supports voice and video communication using the SIP protocol and can deal with the most demanding conditions.
Monitoring buildings using 2N® Helios IP Force is simplified by an integrated camera, which can take pictures at an angle of up to 120°, and which also has a night mode to more effectively capture people in front of the intercom.
The 2N® Helios IP Force door intercom is resistant to demanding conditions, which is why it can be used as a door intercom even on prison entrances. At the main entrance, it will securely withstand both climatic influences and vandals. Inside a prison, it can be placed in locations such as the entrances to individual blocks, where its vandal resistant design will again be of value.
The 2N® Helios IP Force will guarantee that only authorised persons are admitted into the building. Furthermore, it allows for the easy control of up to 4 independent door locks, and their opening and closing can be combined and synchronised with one another.
Our client, a medium-sized firm with its own building and an entrance and gateway into a freight yard, is changing over to a solution with a virtual switchboard. Using 2N® Helios IP intercoms, it can now connect the entrance and gateway to the company telephone network. Whenever you’re away, this solution allows you to take calls from the entrance directly to a landline or mobile telephone. This means, visitors will call reception or the receptionist’s mobile phone during the day and security HQ at night. The solution naturally includes not only video transmission, but also control of doors, gateways and lighting. Intercoms also offer video surveillance of your entrance. All of this with connection to the virtual switchboard, without the need for further infrastructure.
The customer is responsible for managing a large number of buildings. All of them have 2N® Helios IP door communicators installed at the entrance to the building and on individual floors. These intercoms allow the reception of audio announcements (multicast) generated by the 2N® NetSpeaker system. The customer thus uses door communicators as speakers and through them plays various announcements in individual buildings or on individual floors, as required. The ability to use the 2N® NetMic console with a microphone or IP telephone for live announcements is another advantage.
