2N implementing an environmental management system
A certification audit of the environmental management system was carried out in our company at the end of June 2015. Having successfully completed the audit, we received the ISO 14001:2004 certification.
We have implemented the environmental management system and are now among the leading global manufacturers who have an environmental protection system in place. This system is applied throughout the company, from product development to the end of the product life cycle. As we perform individual tasks we regularly monitor their impact on the environment. Besides adhering to the valid acts, decrees and regulations on environmental protection, we strive to take steps to prevent pollution and environmental threats.
“As we have implemented the environmental management system, we have set ambitious objectives for further reduction of the negative impact of our company’s activities on the environment. We also intend to use our products to increase the positive impact on the environment, particularly in energy management,” Zuzana Svitačová, EMS Manager of 2N TELEKOMUNIKACE says. She adds: “The ISO 14001:2004 certification is also important to us for acquiring additional major customers. The certification is often one of the conditions for establishing cooperation.”
If the environmental management system implemented according to ISO 14001:2004 is observed, the obtained certificate will remain valid until 15 July 2018. Recertification for the following period will then be carried out.
